      We continue to go through some of the most common splash models in competitive singles lists and try to find some alternatives for them. Today: Luke Cage  Luke Cage is the premiere 3 threat tank in the game and has the added bonuses of:  - a taunt  - a size 3 character throw on his Spender - one of the games best TTCs attached to him Noone in the game combines all these qualities together quite like Luke so he is sure to be in someone's roster in your team. But what about the rest of you?  We will split this up into two categories:  Characters that can play Sacrifice like TTCs, or are native Taunts or Bodyguards and Characters that aren't those but are generally tanky, starting with the former.  Maybe the most obvious substitute for Luke because Danny can play Heroes for Hire, too. Today:  Beta Ray Bill  Bill is my most played model in the game by quite a margin. Which shouldn't be a surprise as my two most played affiliations are Asgard and Guardians of the Galaxy. He is absolutely invaluable in bothering bringing the affiliation tag and thus access to the affiliated TTCs to the table on top of his excellent kit. In most games Bill will not be your flashy and exciting activation. But he'll score you one or two VPs on average for every round you play him. His extreme durability, good mobility and access to a size 4 character (and terrain) throw makes him a great plug and play character. The rotation of Eyes on the Prize has really not bothered him in the end as he's just good at standing on the midline and living. Today:  Black Cat  To say Black Cat is pushed is an understatement. In the undying words of Joey Tribinani:  While she isn't breaking the game on her own and isn't as universally great for every list as Baron Zemo (though there's a good argument that she is even more valuable) but she makes otherwise good models completely useless when she does she same thing, but better and then three other things on top of what anyone else at her threat level can.  So today we look at all of her four main strengths and find some replacement for one of them. Today:  Baron Zemo  It's kind of unbelievable that Baron Zemo has stayed as pushed as he is from the original core set but here we are. In fact he's even gotten better since due to him being able to use the TTC I Am A Baron After All.  Zemo 1 is the games premiere Extract Chaser with his basically unmatched speed and damage output in his threat range. Add the Strategic Genius bubble and you have a model that's straight up pushed over the edge. I'd be absolutely flabbergasted if theres a team that doesn't have him in their 50 at WTC. So who could the other 4 players have in their lists to compensate?  Strucker is the stay at home version of Zemo in many ways.
