Adepticon 2025 Reveals evaluated

The big AMG Adepticon Panel has come and gone and I've had some time to digest everything and will give my opinions and of course I'll compare the reveals with my predictions.  (As always click on the images to enlarge them) Gambit has gotten a much needed update:  His Gainer lost a dice but changed to Energy.  His Spender has the trigger changed to a wild Stun.  He can now walk in any direction with his reactive superpower instead of just away from the character that attacked him.  He lost the superpower to add dice to his attacks.  He has gained an incredible innate superpower that lets him always count wilds double while attacking, defending and dodging. Very thematically fitting and cool.  Is that enough? Yeah I think so. He's kind of a 3 threat slot machine now where his wilds mean so much, that rerolls (offensively and defensively) are fantastic with him. His TTC Dark Past remains the strongest argument to play him still though which is wh...

Rating all non character specific unaffiliated TTCs

Well this shouldn't come as a surprise now, does it?  Having rated every affiliated TTC in the various Affiliation Overviews and the character specific TTCs here it's only logical that we complete the set with this article.  Team Tactics (14) Brace for Impact (R) S+. You can really only consider not having Brace in your roster if you've built your roster with a lot of terrain throws and high above average physical defense across the entire roster. I would like it to be a free sixth card everyone just has automatically to be honest.  Fall Back (R) A+. Fall Back is restricted for a reason. It's very strong for any team that likes to grab extracts early and hang on to them as long as anyway possible.  Grievous Wounds C-. The timing kills the card for me. Gambling on the effect of a TTC is far too high a price to pay in a competitive setting.  Heavy Firepower D. I had to re read the card which is already a bad sign. I would say I know the effect of about 90%...

All unaffiliated character specific TTCs rated

Today we take a look at each currently legal character specific unaffiliated character Team Tactics Card in MCP (you can find my rating for all affiliated TTCs in their respective Affiliation Overviews) We'll rate each card on this scale:  S = Stapled to the stat card. The card is a big strength increase to the character and often the reason to chose it over a similar option without a card like it.  A = A very good card you want to have in your roster but will pick for your squad based on the situation and not every time you bring the character(s)  B = A decently good card, often more situational than S or A rated ones.  C = Often an overcosted card. It is a card with a decent to good effect but the cost in power (and/or other resources like actions etc.) is too high.  D = Straight to the dumpster. Enjoy the art of the card but never ever consider using it in any kind of even semi competitive games.  Team Tactics (157) so this will take a while...  I'v...
