We continue our look at every character in the game with with D-G today and give them a rating of 1(bad) to 5 (great) at these categories:
Speed:
How fast does the character move, including any superpowers that support it.
Durability:
How well can the character survive enemy attacks. This includes healthpool, defensive stats but also superpowers like Damage reduction or Healing Factor or the turning off of enemy crits.
Damage output:
This contains both attacks but also superpower throws, especially bigger terrain throws. It also takes attack types and stuff like Rapid Fire and Beams into account.
Range:
At what Range can the character operate at? This will not always take the characters longest range attack but might find the middle on those and try to show where they want to operate at realistically.
Control:
Does the character have access to pushes and character throws or hands out a lot of conditions,
Support Superpowers:
This includes any superpowers that help the characters allies like places, advances and healing but also Taunts and Bodyguards
Out of these we'll create different battlefield roles.
The roles are:
Extract Runner: A character that's good at picking up and holding onto Extracts.
Secure Specialist: A character that's either very sticky on a Secure themselves or has the ability to relaibly push/throw enemies off, while being quite durable themselves.
Glass Cannon: A character that has above average damage Output but far below average Durability.
Damage Dealer: A character whose main job is to deal damage.
Brawler: A character that can and wants to get stuck in a fight. Good damage Output and Durability are needed.
Tank: A character whose main job is to not die easily.
Taunt: A character with the ability to "Taunt", so take attacks onto themselves when they are close to the Attacker (Like Luke Cage for example).
Bodyguard: A character with the ability to Bodyguard (like Steve 1).
Backpoint Sitter: A character with very long range attacks that makes it good at staying back or a low threat investment, low impact character.
Control: A character whose main job is to control the enemy characters either through conditions or displacement.
Support: A character whose main job is to use it's support Superpowers to help their team.
Importantly we don't look at leaderships and how they might change a character but just that characters stat card with nothing else.

Electro is weird. He's pretty mobile, has decent Control through conditions, Damage Output while being non trivial to take down. But his mobility goes out of the window once he picks up an Extract. So overall it leaves him as a Damage Dealer (?)
