My TTCs and Stat Card storing solutions

A question I often see pop up on Reddit is: how do you store the TTCs and Stat Cards? I've had several systems during my close to four years playing the game but am very happy with the one I use nowadays and wanted to share it:

These three folders do the heavy lifting now.

First of the TTC folder. Here I use 9 card per side inlays and have them ordered alphabetically (just after the first letter not in order in the letter) any rotated and banned cards are put in backside front and I don't use the backsides of the pouches to be able to appreciate the artwork better. I also put in German or nowadays Spanish copies of the cards below the English version to mark it's space in the folder (some older cards can't have that obviously).

Any cards I need for a game or a standing roster are sleeved in the black sleeves seen on the third image.

I use these sleeves for stat cards and they fit perfectly and an added bonus is that they fit sleeved into these:

I use these for stat cards, once again sorted alphabetically. I do need two folders because there are too many stat cards for one but having them sleeved inside here makes it very easy to pick the ones I need for a given game or a roster. I use German/ Spanish or outdated cards to mark the spot for character (those are not sleeved).

When I make a roster for a tournament or that I'm planning on using more often anyway I put all the necessary cards in a little plastic bag where the cards of a MCP pack came in. We all probably have enough of these and you could keep a few to use them this way 🙂

Example links for the things needed (not affiliated):

Support your local game stores if you can and have them.

That's it for today.

Cheers from Germany 🍻

  1. For your travel solution, rather than a plastic bag which could get bent, consider a small plastic case like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CGRFQJ4J?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

Affiliation Overview: Spider-Foes (2026 update)

Why should you play the affiliation  Are you a somewhat of a scientist yourself? Do you like crushing arachnids? Do you love making overly complicated plans and see them ruined by a teenager?  Spider-Foes are a super fun faction, which boosts the best looking line of miniatures in the game and a very fun and unique play style with tricks and traps.  How to start the affiliation  As long as it's available you absolutely start with the Spider-Foes Starter set. It's the so gle best deal in MCP and probably all of tabletop wargaming.  The only characters you're missing out of the affiliation after that are:  Kingpin (available in the Criminal Syndicate Affiliation pack, which is a good additional pick up after the starter set)  Doctor Octopus (available in the Spider-Foes Affiliation Pack or Rivals Panel)  Doc Ock, Sinister Scientist (available in the Earth Mightiest Core Set, a good additional pick up if you need terrain) Venom (currently de f...

Affiliation Overview: Web Warriors

Why should you play the affiliation  Peter Parker is the single most popular character in the world. Miles and Gwen share between them the focus of the two best superhero movies of all time and are extremely popular characters in their own rights.  On the table Web Warriors are a supreme objective play team building off of their core of incredible 3 threats. They are big enough nowadays to offer different approaches too though.  How to start the affiliation  Untypically I don't think getting the affiliation pack is always the best way to start here. While Miles and Gwen are absolute core models to the affiliation, 4 threat Peter Parker will very rarely (if ever) see the table and Venom is decent but really up to personal taste. And seeing how the only real benefit of the affiliation pack is getting the additional Peter for free you can really decide if that's worth it for you. If you own core set 1 you already have the character and if you own core set ...

Ministravaganza 25 reactions

Wow Ministravaganza 25 did a lot in just 35 mins of MCP this year. Let's dive right in and see if my predictions were even close to correct:  1. Roadmap We're immediately starting out with a banger here. Everything on Iron Lads card is just very good. His builder has a "for every wild" trigger with slow and stun which are both great, his Gainer can push, his Spender can automatically reroll any number of dice, he can remove a damage or special condition for a single power, has a size 2 terrain throw and can reroll attackers dice (just for himself but still). He's an extremely well rounded 3 threat.  A.  The first ever 3 threat on a 65mm base! And oh my what a 3 threat that is. A good builder that can choose to be physical or energy is followed by a great spender that has a throw and an extract steal (not just drop but actually stealing) trigger, as well has a place, rerolls and damage reduction. He is confirmed to be a member of the Criminal Syndicate and will ...
