  In the last article of 2025 I will give my predictions for future Single Person Starter Sets and what they will contain.   AMG gave us a little Christmas present in the form of the Panel to Play for Blue Marvel and Spectrum. Sadly the card for the latter had a mistake on it so we'll wait for that to be rectified before we talk about her. All focus on Adam Brashear today.  Wow, what a Builder. Blue Marvel has a mathematically stronger Builder attack than Black Bolt as his count Skull results as successes outweighs the Inhuman Reroll and Pierce. (4.2 average successes vs. 3.86) The added Wild Stun is just icing on the cake for Adam here. It's going to be his bread and butter to use this attack as often as possible. His Spender is very expensive (potentially costing him 6 or more power) so you'll rarely use it I think but when you do it can be devastating for your opponent if you get it off against multiple targets. It averages 5.64 successes per attack according to the Jarvis Protocol dice calculator. And the crit, hit trigger deals another point of automatic damage in top of it.  And as if h...

  Merry Christmas!  Just a fun little prediction article today where I try and guess the Affiliations for the characters we know are coming in 2026. And I'll also include my predictions for the full list of Mighty Avengers, X-Factor and Thunderbolts at the end. I'll also give my personal hype level for each new character. If I mark something in red , it means that this is something that was basically confirmed by AMG staff or the Asmodee store site. So it's not my fault if it ends up not being true 😁 And to make it clear again: I don't have any inside knowledge about this stuff I just take educated guesses here. But it's going to be fun to check back with this article over the coming year.  Coming out in January Blue Marvel and Spectrum, who will be the leader, introduce the new Mighty Avengers affiliation.     2025 is almost done so let's talk about all new models for the game that came out this year and give some impressions on how they shook out in the end with possible hands on experience either from playing them, playing against them or maybe even both (that will be very rare). We go through them in alphabetical order: Avalanche sadly ended up being a very low impact model. His kit doesn't gel as well as you'd hope with Magneto since he can only destroy terrain reactively (which is cool but much less reliable). He might be a better fit for Mystique because he is good at classic "King of the Hill" secures with his size 4 push Superpower. Which is by far the best thing on his card. Overall I still like him but it's hard to justify him as a splash and only being Brotherhood affiliated does hold him back I think.
